The soundtrack on PS3 Madden 10 is another facet that will get hardcore gamers going. Looks like you need a visit back in time, to the embryonic days of sports video games, if you have your doubts about PS3 Madden 10. Yeah, it may be a little much to rave about a current day game at the expense of the earliest football video games. But when you look at the old versus the new, you can truly appreciate the epic nature of PS3 Madden 10. Obviously, football video games were on every gamer's wish list when the first console games were out there. The downside was, the gaming technology wasn't quite up to speed yet, so video football fanatics had to settle, in a big way. In any ads or promos, the manufacturers of this one insisted "all the excitement" of the genuine article. With an open path to the end zone, this is what the number one console in the day scored a touchdown with. Those guys on the playing field sure couldn't pass for actual football players. There's no getting around that one You can tell by the image that the game wasn't much, but that's only the half of it. Put too many characters on screen at once with these older games, and every character started flashing and flickering. There's just no way to try an explain how lousy the sound was. And worse, the screen didn't even scroll. Soon after, this one was given a run for its money with the competition. It certainly was an improvement, with improved graphics, sound, and gameplay. Still needed work, though.
The video game world was certainly jazzed when that was released, but it wasn't exactly the gold standard. It would take a few more years for that to happen. This next one reaped the benefits of the 8-bit gaming revolution, and people still rave about it to this day. For many years, this was the greatest football video game.
Not hard to understand why that caught on - they were the first to really bring a more comprehensive simulation of football to the video game console. Football video games went to the next level with that one, due to the much needed upgrades. Judging by its online revival, people still enjoy it today in small doses. That being said, PS3 Madden 10 still blows it away. Once you've viewed all the other games, have a gander at PS3 Madden 10. Yes, technology has been good to the video game world in general, and the football video game has benefitted from it all. But there's no purpose in ragging on the early games. You get it. Those games, while archaic, got us to where we are today, and for that, they deserve their place in the video game hall of fame (though that first one may be better off in "video game hall of shame.") PS3 Madden 10 is in a whole different stratosphere than its predecessors, and for that, hardcore gamers have every reason to be stoked. And of course, the critics are equally enthusiastic about PS3 Madden 10, which is even more good news for fans of the franchise. Comments like "realistic and enjoyable" pepper each PS3 Madden 10 review. No shocker - EA Sports has scored another touchdown with PS3 Madden 10. There's no debating it - PS3 Madden 10 is an all-time great sports video game. Hey, each PlayStation sports video game is EPIC in its own way, but for our money, PS3 Madden 10 is the stuff legends are made of. Hardcore gamers hold this one in the highest of regard. This is the game for the real men, not just the little kids, when you go toe-to-toe for some serious money. Now, PlayStation Madden 10 fans can go toe-to-toe and play video games for money. You'll be making touchdowns, and nabbing your foe's money, after you've educated yourself in all things Madden 10.
